I'm Jim Wright, and I'm a robot build'n, Lego animat'n, Shakespeare see'n, Software Engineer. I've been writing code since I was thirteen.
I absolutely love the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. So muvh so that I wrote an iPhone app for tracking the plays you have seen.
Other things I have done includ animating the entire Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony using Ray Traced Lego Figures in 3D Studio Max. As well as mentoring High School students while competing in the FIRST Robot Competition
As a professional software engineer, I’ve been a part of several engineering teams. Some of the products I’ve helped build are the Primary and Secondary Power systems for the LeerJet 85. I rewrote the firmware for the Stryker Lifepack 20, and worked on the Lifepack 15. I started my embedded software career at ADIC working on the Scalar 25, 100, and i500.
